I really like the Atuvos as a much less expensive alternative to the Airtag. It’s incredibly easy to set up/pair with iPhone. And 99 percent of the time, it maintains an accurate relationship to the phone. The only reason I rated this 4 instead of 5 is because sometimes it is necessary to quit the Find My app and then restart it to accurately locate an Atuvos at an airport, such as once you have picked up or dropped off luggage. Sometimes it tells you that a bag is still with you even though you checked it in and are at your gate; sometimes it tells you that your bag is in your departure city even though it is in your hand. Those instances are not frequent and can be resolved but it’s not clear why they happen.On the whole, however, they are accurate and provide great peace of mind when traveling!

I bought these trackers for a trip (within the U.S.) On my first night at my destination, my purse was stolen. I tracked it and Find My app said, âOut of Range.â I decided to go to the last known address the tracker showed, hoping that I might be closer and could then pick up on the tracking. Instead, when I got to the address it had shown, my app said, âYou have arrived.â I was in front of a (nasty, smelly) trash can in front of the public library. I looked inside, and there was my purse, with my wallet inside! Most of my cards were gone, as was my driverâs license. But I âdove inâ to the nasty trash bag, and at the bottom was my driverâs license and one credit card! (I had already cancelled all my cards!) But my driverâs license was what was most important to me. It couldnât be replaced! But new credit cards were expedited to me within two days! (Within the U.S.) So I was able to salvage my trip due to these trackers. I put one in my suitcase and one in my camera backpack and one in a package I mailed and could track all of them!! So worth every penny!

I bought these for a trip I went on alone. I didnât want to spend the excessive amount Apple makes you pay but still wanted something to track my expensive belongs. I went on a trip to New York alone and wanted anything that meant something to be tracked (including myself) I left my luggage at the hotel and went shopping and even though my phone wasnât near there I was still able to get updates that my luggage was safe in my hotel room. Didnât leave anything else behind that I put a tracker on (dog,myself,wallet) but I was happy knowing that if I did I could find it

Annoying Chirp
I purchased these to put in my dogs collars. They randomly chirp which scares the dogs. The batteries have full power according to the app so Iâm not sure what is causing the noise. Also, they donât do very well at updating location in real time. Better off spending the money on real AirTags.

Only 3 of 4 will pair with Iphone
I received 4 ATUVOS tags. Three of them work great. One of them will not pair with my Iphone. I have followed the same procedure multiple times. For the 3 working tags the process was simple and straightforward. I have the latest os on my Iphone. I have reset the tag to factory settings and then tried again with no success (did this multiple times). I have inserted a new battery, after which I repeated the process on the 4th tag with no success. These tags seem to function well, but in my case some are defective. By trade I am a computer engineer and I believe I know how to follow the instructions.

Very impressed
I was told to get AirTags for a trip to Europe. I found these and the price was right hoping that they are good quality and will do the job. I was so impressed with them I put one in my checked luggage one in my carry-on one in my purse. I was able to be notified on my phone when my items were away from me and the luggage that was checked on the plane to Europe was extremely accurate and I felt really good knowing that my luggage had been transferred to the next flight on the way there and the way back so no worries about lost luggage or someone grabbing my bag or purse.

The Atuvos Bluetooth Tracker is a cheaper alternative to Apple AirTag and Tile Mate. While the single pack is affordable, it is a much better value to get a multi-pack as it have a significant discount per tracker. The tracker has a longer range (400ft vs 250ft) than Tile Mate. Atuvos tracker also has replaceable CR2032 battery that lasts a year, whereas Tile Mate has a non-replaceable battery that only lasts 3 years. Just the replaceable battery alone makes the Atuvos tracker a better value than Tile Mate.Where Tile Mate has an advantage is compatibility with iOS and Android with the Tile app. The Atuvos tracker can only be paired with iOS via the Find My app, no third-party app install required. For iPhone users, the Atuvos tracker is a far better option because of the large Find My network, which will allow better tracking than the smaller Tile network. To pair Atuvos with your iCloud account, it does require your account to have 2FA (two-factor authentication). Just something to be aware it. Integration with the Find My app and the Atuvos trackers simply show up in your Items menu. I attached the Atuvos trackers to my car keys, wife’s car keys and kid’s house key. Since this this tracker uses the Find My network, it will use the Find My network which is essentially a peer-to-peer network of iPhones to help track location. Unlike other Bluetooth trackers, you don’t have to be in range of the tracker to see its location. You can play sound on the tracker if you misplace keys, or enable Lost Mode which will notify you when location of your tracker becomes available and display a message for the person that may find it. I would imagine the person finding it will need to have an iPhone with NFC to see the lost and contact information.

Utilizzato come tracker per un motore nautico fuoribordo, visto il periodo e i continui furti ho scelto di installarlo con una fascetta tra i cablaggi del motore (il più lontano possibile dal calore).Sicuramente non è un antifurto e nemmeno un deterrente perché nessuno sa della sua presenza ma almeno così si ottiene una possibilità in più di ritrovare lâoggetto in caso di furto con una spesa irrisoria.Câè anche da chiarire che non ha un gps suo vero e proprio perché altrimenti richiederebbe una sim o un abbonamento e la batteria durerebbe praticamente nulla, non ma con il fatto che si collega al bluetooth di tutti i dispositivi Apple nel raggio di 60/70 mt e ne sfrutti la connessione per comunicare la posizione, al giorno dâoggi la vedo abbastanza remota la possibilità che non riesca a comunicare la posizione per lunghi periodi, é sufficiente che ci si espone ad una strada affollata come unâautostrada o un autogrill piuttosto che un bar/benzinaio che sicuramente troverà un dispositivo Apple a cui appoggiarsi per comunicare la posizione.A distanza di 3 mesi la batteria è ancora al massimo ( lo si può vedere dallâapplicazione) nel caso dovesse scaricarsi é sufficiente aprirlo e sostituire la batteria a bottone.à ottimo anche da attaccare alle chiavi o da mettere nella giacca perché oltre a vedere dove si trovano si può attivare unâopzione molto comoda che invia una notifica quando ci si allontana dallâoggetto, con un messaggio che recita per esempio âhai dimenticato le chiaviâ evitando spiacevoli sorprese quando si è distratti o semplicemente di corsa.Lo ricomprerei? I’ve been fairly happy with this bluetooth tracker from Atuvos. As compared to other third party item trackers from brands like Tile, this actually runs off of the “Find my” network from Apple. It turns out Apple had opened up their find my network to third parties last year and we’ve started to see some more typical air tag like replacements coming out from third parties this year. In practice, this works basically like a regular air tag. You power it on and select “add a device” in your find my app. Click other item, and my phone detected this immediately. You just need to add a name and you’re good to go! Tracking for general location is basically just as accurate as my airtag. You don’t get the exact location functionality that you would otherwise get with an airtag, where you can get the arrow that will point you in the direction if your lost item, but this otherwise offers you the “lost item” functionality that you would get on the find my network. This means that when you mark this item as lost, other people with iPhones can pull up your information to contact you to get this back to you, and with the find my network, you’ll be able to track its location as long as there’s an iPhone within close vicinity. Superb!When you consider the price, this on the face of it doesn’t seem that much cheaper than an airtag, as it’s about $7 cheaper than a new single airtag. When you consider that with an airtag you’d have to purchase a separate case to let you hang this on your keys, that difference gets closer to $17 if you’re getting a third party case for it. Honestly still very good, but when you consider the price of the 4 pack on this which is a bit over double the price, but offers you 4 times the number of tags.So overall an excellent alternative to a standard apple airtag. If you can afford it though, the 4 pack on this is a way better value.
